The production
Quality from genetics to the finished product
At Cannabees, quality doesn't begin with the flower, but with the genetics. Since 2017, we have been selecting, testing, and developing our strains with the utmost care. Every plant goes through a clearly defined process: from the mother plant to the cutting, through flowering, harvesting, and grafting.
Our production combines craftsmanship, precision, and experience with great passion. Every phase is monitored and optimized to ensure that our flowers are not only consistently high-quality but also consistently impress in aroma and appearance.
This is how Cannabees creates products that don't just grow – but are cultivated with responsibility and passion.
Genetics – the origin of our quality
It all started in 2017 with around 1,400 hemp seeds, which we carefully cultivated. Each individual plant was then tested for CBD and THC content using our own laboratory analysis equipment.
From this large selection, only the best plants were chosen, and our own mother plants were grown from them.
In parallel, we continuously monitor the market and test known and new genetics. Additionally, we are constantly working on new varieties and our own crosses, which we carefully select and further develop.
This results in the continuous creation of new, unique genetics that meet our quality standards and allow us to regularly bring something new to the market.
Mother plants – the basis for consistency
Our mother plants are kept under optimal conditions. Every 14–20 days, we take cuttings from them, which are a 100% genetic copy of the respective mother plant. This ensures that each plant possesses the same genetic potential and ultimately produces a consistent, reproducible end product.
Cuttings – the first step to growth
The freshly cut cuttings are rooted for 8–14 days under ideal conditions. Once a stable root system has formed, the young plants are ready for propagation indoors.
Pre-breeding station – careful growth
In the pre-crop station, the young plants acclimate to their new environment. Here they grow their first centimeters and develop into strong, healthy plants before being moved to the flowering room.
The flowering chamber – the start of the actual flowering process.
Once the plants are large enough, they are moved to the flowering room. After another 10 days of growth under 18 hours of light, the light cycle is changed to 12 hours – the flowering phase begins. During the first 14 days or so, the plants grow rapidly in height and develop additional foliage.
The bloom – precision and experience
The flowering period of our varieties ranges from 56 to 70 days. During this phase, experience, observation, and precision are crucial, as each variety has different needs. The better you know the genetics and the more meticulously you work, the more beautiful and aromatic the blossoms will be. Nature follows its own rules.
The harvest – the right moment is crucial
After approximately 46–60 days of flowering, the plants begin to mature. During the last 10 days or so, they are rinsed exclusively with water to wash away any remaining fertilizer from the substrate. After a 24-hour period of darkness, the plants are harvested.
Drying & Trimming – Handwork with Patience
Packaging – protected until it reaches you
After all the work and love we invest in our plants, the flowers are packed in our Cannabees Food-Grade bags. This ensures they are optimally protected and arrive fresh and safe.
